I’m an adventurer, backpacker, hiker, thru-hiker, and amateur climber. I began sharing my experiences through Instagram and TikTok, but quickly knew I wanted to inspire others to explore and find joy in the backcountry as I do. That brought me to the launch of my backpacking and outdoor blog, Backhacker Babe, in December 2020. I provide tips and tools to plan safe, responsible, and stress-free trips for both new and experienced adventure seekers.

MY STORY

I’m not one to back down from a challenge, but having grown up in suburban Washington D.C. and become a medical sales rep, I still surprise myself when I wake up on a mountainside under snowfall or live days at a time without a shower or cellular data. I attempted the John Muir Trail in 2020 but was evacuated due to a fire 60 miles in. I was sad that it was cut short, but my passion for backpacking exponentially grew. On September 4th, 2021, I stood on the summit of Mt. Whitney on the last day of the John Muir Trail. I finally did it… but still dreamed of something more. In 2022, I quit my job to hike from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. It was the most beautifully challenging experience of my life and definitely not my last. I now live in Colorado, where I constantly adventure in the Rocky Mountains, or travel around the beautiful world.

I am a skilled photographer and am a seasoned professional in the backcountry. I strive to provide high quality content that helps connect my audience to brands.
